Updated Covid-19 guidelines
Dear All
On the basis of a recommendation from the Epidemic Commission, the Government has decided that the categorization of COVID-19 as a socially critical disease will be lifted also meaning that all current restrictions will be lifted from February 1st 2022.
Thus, from February 1st there will no longer be:
• Requirements for face masks at services, ceremonies and congregational events.
• Requirements for coronapas at services, ceremonies and congregational events.
• Requirements for information material at churches and congregational premises.
At their meeting yesterday, January 26, the clergy council discussed the last restrictions that are peculiar to the Catholic Church, namely:
• Holy water
• Greetings of peace
• Collection
• The Offertory Procession
• Communion under both kinds
The bishop will soon send a letter about these restrictions.
It is also still important to focus on spraying, cleaning, ventilation, etc.The general recommendations of the health authorities on infection control should therefore still be followed.
